I have been able to calm my nervous system after learning all the different breathing techniques. As someone with a disease that directly effects my nervous system and my heart, breathwork has helped me to improve this significantly. I couldn't do the retention for longer than 20 seconds when starting, where a normal person's is 35–45 seconds. It felt great to be able to do the entire minute at the end of this week. It has helped me to be more mindful and in the present moment.
